Lose the phone and you lose the number - and the number is quietly the master key. It's where the bank texts your login code, where email sends the “is this you?” prompt, where every “forgot password” flow ends up. Whoever holds your SIM can walk into accounts a stolen handset alone can't touch. So SIM first: block the line, kill the second factor, then worry about the glass. Below is the official lost/stolen hotline for every carrier we've catalogued - in international format, with a Works from abroad flag for the ones you can actually dial from a borrowed phone.

An open dataset - corrections welcome
Numbers move, carriers merge, help pages get rewritten. This table is compiled from each carrier's own official pages, and we're publishing the underlying data openly under a permissive licence so anyone can reuse it, cross-check it, or feed it into their own tools. If a number is wrong, a line no longer works from abroad, or a carrier is missing, tell us and we'll fix it - email hello@nowwhat.page. Every correction ships to everyone.
