Reporting it to the police

Call the Tourist Police on 1155 (24h, English) or go to the nearest police station / Tourist Police office. Bring your passport, describe time and location, and ask for a copy of the report with a case number. The report typically takes 1-3 hours and is required for insurance and for a SIM replacement.

For your insurance claim: Insurers require the police report (daily report / bai jaeng khwam) with its case number; ask the station for a stamped copy in English if possible.

Blocking your SIM

Getting back online
